J. K. Rowling is Harry Potter author's pen name and her real name is Joanne "Jo" Rowling. She has been married twice.

At the age of 27, Rowling married Portuguese television journalist Jorge Arantes on 16 October 1992. She met him in a bar while she taught English in Portugal. The following year of their marriage, Rowling gave birth to Jessica Isabel Rowling Arantes in Portugal. However, couple months later, the couple separated in November 1993.

At the age of 36, Rowling married her second husband - Neil Michael Murray on 26 December 2001. The couple has a son (David Gordon Rowling Murrayborn on 24 March 2003)and a daughter(Mackenzie Jean Rowling Murray born on 23 January 2005) together.
