Three Spanish tennis players have won the most prestigious and important tennis tournament in the world, Wimbledon.

The first Spanish to win was Manolo Santana in 1966, who defeated north-merican Dennis Ralston.

After Manolo came a female player, Conchita Martinez, who defeated Martina Navratilova in 1994.

The last Spanish player to win Wimbledon has been Rafael Nadal, and he made it twice, in 2008 against Roger Federer and in 2010 againt Thomas Berdych.
