The 2017 French Open took place at the Stade Roland Garros in Paris. It lasted from 28th May to 11th June.

The winner of the Men's Singles was Rafael Nadal (defending champion, Novak Djokovic, lost in the quarter finals to Dominic Thiem).

The winner of the Women's Singles was Jeļena Ostapenko (defending champion, Garbiñe Muguruza, lost in the 4th round to Kristina Mladenovic).

The total prize money was €36,000,000 and the tournament was played on a clay surface.
