Jimmy Connors, Pete Sampras and Roger Federer have won the Men's US Open Singles titles five time respectively, which makes them the winners of most Singles titles since 1968. Among them,  the Swiss player Roger Federer is also the winner of most consecutive Singles titles from 2004 to 2008.

Chris Evert and Serena Williams have won the Women's US Open Singles titles six times, which makes them the winners of the most Singles titles since 1968. Chris Evert is also the winner of the most consecutive titles from 1976 to 1979.
