Yes, Andy Murray's mother Judy was a professional tennis player in the 1970s and now works as a tennis coach. Her career took off mainly because of the success of her two sons - Andy and Jamie Murray.

Judy splited with her ex-husband William Murray when Andy was only nine years old. After the separation, both boys were living with their dad although Judy was keeping to take them to the tennis lessons.
