Sylvester Stallone has been married three times. His first marriage, when he was 28 years old, was to the actress Sasha Czach. This was in 1974, before Stallone became famous with his first major film, Rocky (1976). They had two sons, of whom the elder, Sage, died in July 2012. They were married for 11 years and divorced in 1985.

Later in 1985, Stallone married Brigitte Nielsen, an actress and model who has since become a celebrity herself, mainly through having been married to Stallone. They divorced in 1987 with a lot of publicity, and had no children.

In 1997 he married Jennifer Flavin, who was a model at the time, and to whom he is still married. They have three daughters, who are now about 16, 14 and 10 years old.
