Cristiano Ronaldo's girlfriend is called
Irina Shayk. She is 27 years old and a model from Russia. She is
particularly well known as a swimwear model and some people have called her one
of the most beautiful women in the world.

The couple have been together for almost three years now; they met when Irina
was filming an Armani ad.

Irina Shayk is the daughter of a coal miner and a music teacher. As a
girl she studied music, then marketing and later went to beauty school. She was
only 14 when her father died and left the family with little money.

At 18 she entered a beauty contest on the advice of one of her teachers, and
won. Her modelling career was launched soon after this, in Paris. She is a highly successful model and has also done some charitable work in her native city of Chiliabinsk.
