Katy Perry has been married only once so far, to UK comedian and actor Russell Brand. They were married in 2010, but were divorced in July 2012. The marriage lasted just under two years, though as Brand filed for divorce in December 2011 they were actually together for less than that.

Even though the divorce seems to have been his idea, Brand has since insisted that he cares deeply about Perry and it was more practical issues that split them up, such as their different careers which made it hard for them to spend time together.

Katy Perry has lately been dating Robert Ackroyd, the guitarist with Florence and the Machine. He is reported to be thinking about moving to Los Angeles to be with her, so it may be turning into a serious relationship. Brand's name has been linked with several other women lately too.
