The tennis star Maria Sharapova got engaged to NBA basketall player Sasha Vujacic in October 2010 in Los Angeles.

Maria first met Sasha at a barbeque in 2009 and they started dating but the relationship did not go public until later that year at a U2 concert.

While Maria has completed the career grand slam, her husband to be - Sasha has also won two championships, who played for the Los Angeles Lakers and New Jersey Nets. Now Sasha plays for a Turkish basketball team called Anadolu Efes S.K.
