Most commentators felt that, among the female stars, the best dressed were probably Jennifer Lawrence, Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain.
Jennifer Lawrence was in very pale pink, almost white, with bare shoulders and a fishtail skirt. Jessica Chastain was in a close fitting pale gold dress and Anne Hathaway was in ivory, again very slim fitting with skinny straps. You can see pictures of these outfits here.
Jennifer Lawrence, and several others including Naomi Watts, wore a lot of sequins too, which looks like being popular in the next months. It was also noted that generally the stars wore quite conservative styles, not showing as much flesh as they have in previous years.
