Not at all! The intention of the Illustration Friday website is to encourage aspiring illustrators to illustrate a weekly topic, represented by a word, and submit it before Friday.
This is a weekly challenge and a very good way to keep you busy and practice as if you have been commissioned. It is also a great way to promote your blog and share your work with the community of artists.
