What are some winter season jobs?

It depends on where you live. if you live in an area that has cold winters with winter sports, then there are a lot of opportunities. Even if you don't do winter sports yourself, ski and other sport resorts are always looking for helpers, bar staff, chalet help and so on. If you look here you will get an idea of the kind of opportunites on offer.

Outside of winter sports, there are more work openings before Christmas than after it, so if you're still looking later this year it is worth applying in autumn - lots of businesses, including retail, hospitality and manufacturing, take on more workers in the months before Christmas. From New Year to early spring is otherwise not the best time for seasonal work; in areas of heavy snow or other bad weather you do sometimes find a need for extra outdoor workers, though. Your local job centre or council would be the best place to ask in that case. Good luck.
