Yes it has just been announced (4 April 2014) that he will not be presenting the show this year. At 86 Sir Bruce is one of the oldest entertainers still on TV and has been fronting Strictly for the last 10 years.
Over the last few years it was becoming plain that he wouldn't be able to do the job for too much longer - he had already given up doing the Sunday night show, and a few times the new(ish) Sunday presenter, Claudia Winkelman, also had to take his place on Saturday night and work with co-host Tess Daly as Bruce wasn't well enough. Also, his style was starting to look rather out of touch and a lot of viewers felt it was time for him to go. This feeling probably started several years back when one of the judges, Arlene Phillips, then in her early 60s was sacked for being 'too old' although the male head judge was older than her.
Sir Bruce will still present some Strictly specials.
