The World Aids Day is and annual event held in the 1st of December to support the people living with HIV and to remember the ones that have died from the virus.
It is also a good way to inform about how to prevent getting infected or infect others, raise money for investigation and fight the stigmas of the society. Today it is estimated that 33.3 million people live with HIV worldwide and a total of 25 million people have died of Aids between 1981 and 2007.
You can support people living with the HIV and remember those who have died by wearing a red ribbon.
