According the Sky Sports investigation, the cost of hosting London 2012 Olympics has sky-rocketed from the original prediction of £2.4 billion in 2005 to £24 billion if you include public transportation upgrade costs. It is ten times higher than the original assumption. Most of the money is spending on security,policing, venues and transport.
