How do you say "I miss my family" in Korean?

Based on the level of respect or formality, you can say "I miss my family" in Korean in 3 ways:

  • Informal: na-neun nae gajok-i geuriweo (나는 내 가족이 그리워) - na-neun can be omitted
  • Formal: jeo-neun jeo-eui gajok-i geuriweoyo (저는 저의 가족이 그리워요), jeo-neun jeo-eui gajok-eul geuripseupnida (저는 저의 가족이 그립습니다) - jeo-neun can be omitted
  • Very Formal: jeo-neun jeo-eui gajok-i geuripseupnida (저는 저의 가족이 그립습니다) - jeo-neun can be omitted

- I: na-neun (나는), jeo-neun (저는)
- to miss: geuriweo-hada (그리워하다)
- my: na-eui (나의), nae (내), jeo-eui(저의), jae (제)
- family: gajok (가족)
