Who is the oldest male player to win Wimbledon?

African American Arthur Ashe was the oldest tennis player to win Wimbledon Gentlemen's singles title. Born on 10/07/1943, Arthur won his first Wimbledon title in 1975 when he was 32 years old.

Australian former tennis player Rod Laver won four wimbledon singles' titles. He won his last title in 1969 when he was almost 31 years old. The current world NO.1 Roger Federer (as of 09/07/2012) won his lastest Wimbledon title (2012) at the similar age as Rod.
