According to the Guinness World Record, the world's oldes cat lived for thirty years and three days while the average lifespan of a cat is about 12-16 years. Female cats tend to live a few years long than male cats.

The cat was a female cat, born on 3 August 1967 in Texas, USA, was raised by Jake Perry.
