Based on the level of respect or formality, you can say "What is the filling inside mandu?" in Korean in 3 ways:

  • Informal: mandu an-eui naeyongmul-i mwo-ya? (만두 안의 내용물이 뭐야?), mandu an-eui naeyongmul-i mwo-ni? (만두 안의 내용물이 뭐니?)
  • Formal: mandu an-eui naeyongmul-i mwo-yeyo? (만두 안의 내용물이 뭐에요?), mandu an-eui naeyongmul-i mueot-ipnigga? (만두 안의 내용물이 무엇입니까?)
  • Very Formal: mandu an-eui naeyongmul-i mueot-ipnigga? (만두 안의 내용물이 무엇입니까?)

- what (objective): mueot-eul (무엇을), mwol (뭘), mwo (뭐)
- filling: naeyongmul (내용물이)
- inside: an-eui (안의), sok-eui (속의)
- mandu: mandu (만두)
