When will Wikileak's founder Julian Assange know if he will be extradited to Sweden?

On 30 May Julian Assange lost his latest appeal to avoid extradition. The basis of the appeal was a claim that the Swedish judge who originally gave the extradition order was not competent to do so. It has now been decided that the order was valid, and therefore Assange can be sent to Sweden.

However, it isn't yet certain. At the end of the 30 May hearing (at which Assange was not present) one of his lawyers requested a two-week delay before proceedings started to arrange his extradition. This was granted; it seems extremely unlikely that he will be able to avoid going to Sweden in the end, though, as no legal reason has been found why he shouldn't be sent there. But this new development may make it harder for the US to get a ruling for Assange to be extradited to America, where he is wanted on different charges.

Julian Assange is perhaps one of the most important and influential persons in the world because he has created Wikileaks, a nont-for-profit media organisation that unveils secret or highly sensitive information to the most important information to the public.

Though the case might have been orchestrated for his involvement in the declassification of highly sensitive diplomatic and war information, the fact is that Assange was accused of sexual abuse and rape by two formerly Wikileaks volunteers. It's been 17 months now since he was formelry accused and tomorrow, 30th May 2012.
