Based on the level of respect or formality, you can say "I have to go now" in Korean in 3 ways:

  • Informal: na-neun ije ga-ya hae (나는 이제 가야 해) - na-neun can be omitted
  • Formal: jeo-neun ije ga-ya haeyo (저는 이제 가야 해요), jeo-neun ije ga-ya hapnida (저는 이제 가야 합니다) - jeo-neun can be omitted
  • Very Formal: jeo-neun ije ga-ya hapnida (저는 이제 가야 합니다) - jeo-neun can be omitted

- I: na-neun (나는), jeo-neun (저는)
- to go: gada (가다)
- now: ije (이제), jigeum (지금)
