The script of the silent film 'The Artist' (2011) was written and directed by Michel Hazanavicius.
The film take action in Hollywood in 1927 and the story is about an aspiring dancer Peppy Miller (Berenice Bejo) who has the chance to make her dreams come true when in a movie premiere she meets her idol, George Valentin (Jean Dujardin), and he helps her to work in the silent films industry.
They will see their lives change dramatically with the arrival of the sound films.
