Based on the level of respect or formality, you can say "I am a student" in Korean in 3 ways:


Informal na-neun haksaeng-iya 나는 학생이야
Formal jeo-neun haksaeng-iyeyo 저는 학생이예요
Very Formal jeo-neun haksaeng-imnida 저는 학생입니다

  • I: na-neun (나는), jeo-neun (저는)
  • to be: ida (이다)
  • student: haksaeng (학생)
