There has been a lot of praise for the Lithuanian entry - Vitautus Matuzas feat Evalina. At the moment, though, if you want to place a bet, the definite favourites are Sweden. You can see a full list of the latest odds, as well as hearing the Swedish entry, here.

However, it's always hard to predict the winner of Eurovision because so much of the voting is political - there are certain countries that always vote for their allies and against their rival states, with no reference to the quality of the songs. This year in Azerbaijan, there have also been some stories about problems with voting before the contest even starts, as well as ongoing disputes with other countries.

So, as usual, the contest should be full of surprises. Among this year's highlights are the Russian granny band and the UK's 76 year old entrant, Engelbert Humperdinck, but neither of these is a favourite to win.

At the end, Sweden won the 2012 Eurovision with Loreen's winning track Euphoria.
