How do I write Mothers Day poems?

You could start by seeing what other people have written on this subject - if you type 'mothers day poems' in a search engine you will find plenty of examples, and you can add key words such as 'son', 'daughter' etc to make it more specific. A number of examples can be found here.

But although you may get ideas this way, if you are composing your own poem it needs to be special. So now you should write down all the things about your mum that are really special and individual, nice things she has done for you or others, and just things you love about her. Then choose, say, the best five or six things and put them in order. You can make these into a very simple poem, like a list or an acrostic - just reasons why you love her, etc. Or you may want to be more ambitious and create rhyming verse - if so, you can get some help here.

I'm sure she'll be delighted to have a poem, however you decide to write it.
