The opening ceremony for the 2012 Paralympics will be on 29 August, with the closing on 9 September. The games themselves start on 30 August with cycling, archery and a number of other events - you can see a full schedule here.

You can buy tickets for the remaining events in the same way as you buy them for the conventional Olympics. There are people out there selling tickets but there are a lot of frauds about, and it is safest to start with the official website. If you click here you will find full instructions on how to buy your tickets - you have to open a ticketing account and not all events are available all the time. Paralympics tickets start at £10 with concessions for students, older people etc - but prices do vary so you will need to check.
