4G means the fourth generation mobile service. 16 cities in the UK are going to get 4G coverage, the high-speed connectivity, by the end of 2012.
London, Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff are the four cities to be tested first, followed by Nottingham, Newcastle, Southampton, Belfast, Sheffield, Hull, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Derby.
