The biggest and most famous museum of Paris is The Louvre Museum (Le Musée du Louvre in French). It has an amazing art collection dated from the Middle Ages, including the Mona Lisa ofLeonard da Vinci, the Winged Victory of Samothrace, and the Venus of Milo.

It has eight sections: Islamic Art, Oriental Antiquities, Egyptian Antiquities, Greek, Etruscan and Roman Antiquities and, for the modern period, Paintings, Sculptures, Art items, Drawings and Prints. So you can enjoy arts from different culture and different period.

The address of The Louvre Museum is 4 Place du Louvre, Paris, 75001, and the opening hours are 9 am- 6 pm on Monday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday; and 9 am-10 pm on Wednesday and Friday. Don't visit on Tuesday as it is closed. You can take taxi, bus or metro to get there. Bus 21, 24, 27, 39, 48, 68, 69, 72, 76, 81, 95 can all get you there, and the closest Metro station is Palais Royal Musée du Louvre.

The admission fee is €10, which gives you a full-day access to the Louvre, except for temporary exhibitions. Temporary exhibitions in the Hall Napoléon costs €11.

For more, you can visit the museum's official site - www.louvre.fr/llv/commun/home.jsp , which is available in English, Chinese and Japanese.
