Based on the level of respect or formality, you can say "Can you please give me some water?" in Korean in 3 ways:

  • Informal: mul jom julsu itni? (물 좀 줄 수 있니?), mul jom julsu itseo? (물 좀 줄 수 있어?)
  • Formal: mul jom julsu itnnayo? (물 좀 줄 수 있나요?), mul jom julsu itsseupnigga? (물 좀 줄 수 있습니까?)
  • Very Formal: mul jom jusil su itseusipnigga? (물 좀 주실 수 있으십니까?)

- you (subjective): neo (너), neo-neun (너는), dangsin-eun (당신은), dansin-ggeseo-neun (당신께서는)
- please: jom(좀), jebal (제발)
- water: mul (물)
