How often do you wash your make up brushes? Once in several months? Actually, they need to be washed at least once a month, ideally once every two weeks. If you have had skin or eye infection, you need to wash your make up brushes every time after use.
- Add a little bit washing up liquid to a bowl of luke warm water
- Try to avoid the handles wet and only dip the bristles in the water
- Rub the bristles with your hands to clean
- Rinse the bristles in plain water
- Use kitchen towel to squeeze excess water out of the bristles
- Place the brushes on a flat surface, e.g. dressing table, and make sure the bristles hang over the edge to dry naturally.
