Based on the level of respect or formality, you can say "Do you like Korean food?" in Korean in 3 ways:

  • Informal: neo-neun hanguk eumsik-eul joa-hae? (너는 한국 음식을 좋아해?), neo-neun hanguk eumsik-eul joa-hani? (너는 한국 음식을 좋아하니?)
  • Formal: dansin-eun hanguk eumsik-eul joa-haseyo? (당신은 한국 음식을 좋아 하세요?), dansin-eun hanguk eumsik-eul joa-hapnigga? (한국 음식을 좋아합니까?)
  • Very Formal: dansin-ggeseo-neun hanguk eumsik-eul joa-hasipnigga? (당신께서는 한국 음식을 좋아하십니까?)

- you (subjective): neo (너), neo-neun (너는), dangsin-eun (당신은)
- to like: joa-hada (좋아하다)
- Korean food: hanguk eumsik (한국 음식)
