Based on the level of respect or formality, you can say "I like your shirt" in Korean in 3 ways:

  • Informal: na-neun neo-eui syeocheu joa hae (나는 너의 셔츠 좋아해), syeocheu ye-ppeu-ne (셔츠 예쁘네), syeocheu meot itne (셔츠 멋있네)
  • Formal: jeo-neun dangsin-eui syeocheu joa haeyo (저는 당신의 셔츠 좋아해요), jeo-neun dangsin-eui syeocheu joa hapnida (저는 당신의 셔츠 좋아합니다), syeocheu ye-ppeu-neyo (셔츠 예뻐요), syeocheu ye-ppeupnida (셔츠 예쁩니다), syeocheu meot itneyo (셔츠 멋 있네요), syeocheu meot itseupnida (셔츠 멋 있습니다)
  • Very Formal: jeo-neun dangsin-eui syeocheu joa hapnida (저는 당신의 셔츠 좋아합니다), syeocheu ye-ppeupnida (셔츠 예쁩니다), syeocheu meot itseupnida (셔츠 멋있습니다)

- I: na-neun (나는), jeo-neun (저는)
- to like: joa hada (좋아하다)
- your: neo-eui (너의), dangsin-eui (당신의)
- shirt: syeocheu (셔츠)
