The 2012 London Olympics are going to be the firts ever to host a women's competition in boxing, a traditionally male-dominated sport.

However, there will be only three boxing events in which women compete, women's fly, middle and light, compared to the 11 categories for men, light fly, spuer heavy weight, heavy weight, light heavy weight, middle weight, welter weight, light welter weight, light weight, feather weight, Bantan weight, fly weight and light fly weight.
