Based on the level of respect or formality, you can say "Please don't put onions in it" in Korean in 3 ways:

  • Informal: jebal geu-an-e yangpa-reul neotchi ma (제발 그안에 양파를 넣지마)
  • Formal: jebal geu-an-e yangpa-reul neotchi maseyo (제발 그안에 양파를 넣지마세요), jebal geu-an-e yangpa-reul neotchi masipsiyo (제발 그안에 양파를 넣지마십시요)
  • Very Formal: jebal geu-an-e yangpa-reul neotchi malajuseyo (제발 그안에 양파를 넣지 말아주세요)

- please: jom(좀), jebal (제발)
- to put: neotda 넣다), notda (놓다)
- onion: yangpa (양파)
- in: an-e (안에)
- it: geu (그), geu-geot (그것)
