Based on the level of respect or formality, you can say "Are you free this weekend?" in Korean in 3 ways:

  • Informal: ibeon jumal-e sigan itseo? (이번 주말에 시간 있어?), ibeon jumal-e sigan itni? (이번 주말에 시간 있니?)
  • Formal: ibeon jumal-e sigan itseoyo? (이번 주말에 시간 있어요?), ibeon jumal-e sigan itseupnigga? (이번 주말에 시간 있습니까?)
  • Very Formal: ibeon jumal-e sigan itseusipnigga? (이번 주말에 시간 있으십니까?)

- you (subjective): neo (너), neo-neun (너는), dangsin-eun (당신은), dansin-ggeseo-neun (당신께서는) - omitted here
- to be free: sigan-i itda (시간이 있다)
- weekend: jumal (주말)
