The largest sea in the World is the Philippine Sea.
It is situated in the North East of the Philippines, in the west of the North Pacific Ocean.
It covers a surface of 5 million km² (2 million mi²) and its borders are:
-The Philippine Archipilago on on the South West.
-The Ryukyu Islands on the North West.
-Taiwan on the West.
-The Caroline Islands on the South East.
-The Marianas on the East.
-The Bonin and Iwo-Jima on the North East.
-Japan on the North.
In the Philippine Sea we can find the Deep Sea Trench, which is the deepest point on the planet.
