Typical Father's Day gifts tend to be a bottle of Dad's favourite drink, or something like a new shirt or wallet, or a personalised beer mug. However, if you want to get something more individual you will need to think about his character and what he likes.

First of all, maybe your dad would prefer an experience rather than a present? Many people do, especially nowadays when so many of us already have the material things we want (the small ones anyway). Does he like eating out, for instance, or would he rather go to an event? Are there sporting tickets you could get for a surprise?

It's possible to get vouchers for a whole range of things, whether it's for cinema, sports or days out, so if you think about something your dad likes, put it in a search engine and add the word 'voucher' you may well have an idea for a special present.
